We are working hard to bring back your favorite local basil!
We love our basil...and so will you!
Basil contains many vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, such as lutein, zeaxanthin, beta-carotene, and beta-cryptoxanthin. These antioxidants and essential oils provide many of its health benefits. These compounds mostly disappear during the drying process, so opt for fresh basil in your recipes when possible to gain the most benefits. Check out the other nutrition information for basil!
